I go to Wilton shaped pans for every birthday. Sturdy construction, easy to make, basically just color in the lines with frosting in a pastry bag (I tend to fill in using various star tips mostly). My daughter was having a fairy party, and I used this to make her a fairy cake because the negative space in the back of the princess looked like wings a bit, with just a few modifications on my end. Its a small cake, serves maybe only 4-5 people, which made it perfect for just the four of us in our family to celebrate her actual birthday day. For her party, I used it again, changed up the colors, and made additional cupcakes.As with all Wilton cake pans, you need to butter and flour this one well too. It is NOT nonstick. I actually suggest Wilton Cake Release, it really does work best. Not the best ingredients in terms of hydrogenated oils and other gunk, but hey, a birthday is a feast time not fast time.
